We want to remind guests that our home is located in a beautiful rural area of Maine, which means you’ll be surrounded by nature — and that includes bugs. While we do professionally spray the property to help mitigate their presence, it’s still possible for bugs to make their way inside, especially when windows and doors are opened.
Please also note that insects can occasionally enter through air conditioning units or heat pumps.
We do our best to minimize this, but a few bugs may still find their way in — it’s part of the charm (and challenge!) of staying close to nature. Thank you for your understanding!

Hannah's place was perfect for my friends and I. She was great at communicating. We had everything we needed to cook a nice meal. The fire pit was a highlight for us as well. Overall, super peaceful place and would definitely come back!

Driveway was a but tough to find especially when it’s dark out. Hannah was responsive at gave great instructions! The place was spotless and clean with all necessary amenities. Peaceful place to stay!

Hannah was a very responsive host, had suggestions for where to pick up some items that we forgot and had some snacks waiting for us upon arrival. The place was new, super clean, and good amount of space. Beds were comfy. The fire-pit, chairs and grill were all nice touches to have available in the backyard. We got to see a deer wandering back there one morning and could see the lake beyond the trees as the leaves were beginning to fall. Highly recommended!

We can’t say enough about how much we absolutely loved this place!!!! Hannah had ALL of the “little things” to make it feel like home! The place was very roomy, which we appreciate with having two dog kennels. We typically squeeze around them, but the living room was plenty big enough that they were never in our way! Motion sensor lights for taking the dogs out when it was dark! I would call this a duplex, and we NEVER heard the people next door! The first place we stayed, we could hear almost everything.Hannah’s instructions for the driveway was great! Otherwise, the gps had us parking in the road. There was not a single thing in the kitchen that we did not see. Including an electric kettle to heat water for our coffee, since we use a French press. We typically have to use a sauce pan to heat water.My husband is a retired electrician, and he prides himself on wanting to give “citations” for things not being code. He was disappointed he couldn’t find a thing!!!
