We want to remind guests that our home is located in a beautiful rural area of Maine, which means you’ll be surrounded by nature — and that includes bugs. While we do professionally spray the property to help mitigate their presence, it’s still possible for bugs to make their way inside, especially when windows and doors are opened.
Please also note that insects can occasionally enter through air conditioning units or heat pumps.
We do our best to minimize this, but a few bugs may still find their way in — it’s part of the charm (and challenge!) of staying close to nature. Thank you for your understanding!

Easy to find. Quiet area. Good location for going to different areas. The house is very nice and had everything we needed. The kitchen and bathroom were well stocked. I would definitely recommend this rental to anyone! Thank you!!

The photos accurately reflect how the house looks, but an important detail was missing from the listing. A couple of days before check-in, we received a message from the host giving a “heads up” about seasonal bugs. Unfortunately, this turned out to be a serious issue, the house was infested with Asian lady beetles (they look like ladybugs but can fly and even bite). The ceiling, curtains, and bedrooms were covered with them, making it nearly impossible to relax indoors. We ended up spending over an hour each night just cleaning before we could go to bed.After our stay, we reached out to the host, who acknowledged the issue but kept delaying any resolution, saying they needed time to review the situation. ultimately stalling until we missed the review window. That didn’t feel like a genuine or fair response.I wouldn’t recommend staying here during this time of the year if you’re not comfortable with indoors flying bugs.

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful Airbnb! The space was modern yet full of character, blending charm and comfort perfectly. It was immaculately clean, thoughtfully designed, and truly felt like a home away from home.The location was fantastic. Just a short distance from town, with plenty of great restaurants and shops nearby, and also very convenient for visiting Acadia National Park. We couldn't have asked for a better base for exploring the area.Hannah was exceptional, responsive, thoughtful, and went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Any questions or concerns were addressed promptly, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable.We had such a lovely time and would absolutely recommend this place to anyone visiting the area. We’d love to stay here again!

Great place to stay. Everything was as described in the listing and more. Very clean, modern, home with lots of space for my family of 6. The grounds were well kept with a bbq grill and fire pit that we used every night. Was also close to ANP which we visited every day. Everything that Hannah describes is exactly how it is. It was perfect for us and we’ll be definitely going back.
